Anniversary Giveaway!!

I knew it had been a long time since my last post but I didn't realize it was over a month ago!  I completely missed the one year anniversary of my very first post!  Alas, September was a very busy month with a spontaneous road trip to Missouri (10 hour drive with 2 kiddos under 3), two family gatherings closer to home and two weeks of sickness.  During all that craziness I refurbished dining room chairs I found on craigslist, made Indianapolis Colts shirts and a cape for Lucy (my first crack at appliques).  Maybe these projects will be the next post.  Now for the exciting stuff!

The winner will receive this ornament available in my Etsy shop:

Recycled Paper and Paperboard Ornament $12
The giveaway is open to residents of the U.S. and Canada and ends Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 10pm EST.  The winner will be picked randomly out of a hat by Lucy (she will love this!) and announced in another blog post.

To enter leave a comment about how you repurpose or reuse items in your own home.

Good Luck!!

  1. I re-purpose so many things...before I had fabric grocery bags- I would use all the plastic bags and make them into a soccer ball! (I learned this from missionaries who would re-purpose so that there was no waste.) I also re-purpose old jeans and make them into coin purses to send as Christmas presents!
Those are my two tips! and my entry! ^_^
Thanks for the chance to WIN!!!

  2. I used to be more crafy, so I'd use all sorts of things for that. I want to get back into it though!!

How cute, thanks for the giveaway.

  3. my biggest reuse for paper is before we throw it out, can we print a coupon off the back of it? i have a bin full of old papers from various things and i just cant throw it out if the back is blank! and we only use reusable grocery bags for any kind of shopping trip :)

  4. Beautiful giveaway prize - I reuse nice calendar pictures into envelopes for cards/invitations. I choose nice pictures and fold them so it on the front of the envelope and use a white sticker label for the address.
Thanks for the chance (fingers crossed)
